Our store's namesake! Resistors are electronic components which have a specific, never-changingelectrical resistance. The resistor's resistancelimits the flow of electronsthrough a circuit. They arepassivecomponents, meaning they only consume power (and can't generate it). Resistors are usually added to circuits where they complementactivecomponents like op-amps, microcontrollers, and otherintegrated circuits. Commonly resistors are used to limit current, divide voltages, andpull-up I/O lines.
