Q: How do I make an account?

A: Go to our website homepage, then click on the login button on the top right navbar. This will redirect you to https://resi.store/login. Under the prompt for login credentials, click the link labeled ‘Sign-up Here!’. You will need to fill out the form with information to identify your account. If you submit an email address that is already linked to a ResiSTORE Account, then you will have to choose another. Once the form is successfully submitted you will automatically be logged in to your account and have access to the standard tools associated with a ResiSTORE Account.


Q: Why would I make an account?

A: A ResiSTORE account will allow you to view your order history, have an expedited checkout with saved addresses and get you access to member exclusive discounts when available.


Q: The item I want is Out of Stock. When will it be back?

A: When an item is out of stock in the store, our staff is notified and a order is placed with our supplier or manufacturing line based on the popularity of the item and the time in which it has been out of stock (items of equal popularity weight will be purchased in the order they became out of stock). If an item that you need urgently is out of stock contact us though the Contact Page. Marking your subject as ‘Out of Stock Request’ and our staff will help you directly.


Q: When am I charged for an order I place?

A: Orders through the ResiSTORE are purchased in ResiSTORE Credit. You are allowed to get as many components as you need without putting anything upfront and will be sent a bill at the end of each academic term at Oregon State University. This bill will be paid through Ideal Logic. If you have un-paid ResiSTORE credit at the beginning of a term you will not be able to get new parts on credit until it is paid off in-full.


Q: Can I pay with a Purchase Order?

A: Currently The ResiSTORE is not accepting payments though Purchase Orders. If this was of inconvenience to you, please Contact Us though our contact form and we will find a solution to your current situation and note that Purchase Order payments should be on our radar.


Q: What payment methods do you accept?

A: Components are bought off of credit during the term, all students and faculty may use the ResiSTORE and take out credit. For paying off that credit at the end of the term the OSU Ideal Logic system is used. They accept payment through credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover). US funds only.


Q: I'm looking to get a refund. How can I do that?

A: The ResiSTORE accepts refunds for up to 30 days after the order was confirmed by the store. To request your eligible refund, contact us though the ‘Contact Us’ form on the site with the header ‘Requesting Refund’.


Q: Will you ship components to me?

A: The ResiSTORE is no longer able to ship components to students at this time. We apologize for this inconvenience. If you are personally affected by this change, let us know via the ‘Contact Us’ form!


Q: Do I need to be an OSU Student to purchase?

A: Currently you must be an OSU Student or Faculty member in order to purchase componets using ResiSTORE credit. If you do not fall into that category and would like to pay in USD, let us know via our ‘Contact Us’ form and we can work something out.
